Egypt inaugurated on Thursday a transformer station to serve industrial developers in Sadat City, 94km (58 miles) north of Cairo, at a capacity of 18,000 megavolt amperes (MVA).
The station was opened by Abdel Mottaleb Mamdouh, New Urban Communities Authority’s (NUCA) vice chairman, accompanied by Karam Salem, National Co. for General Construction and supplies’ head.
“The station was implemented by National Service Products Organisation (NSPO),” Abdel Mottaleb Mamdouh said.
