No Parliamentary HR Delegation to visit Saudi Jails: KSA Ambassador

The Ambassador of KSA in Cairo, Ahmed Abdulaziz Kattan, dismissed recent media allegations about concluding an agreement between King Abdullah Abdul-Aziz and the Human Rights Committee of the People’s Assembly (Lowers’ House), by which the Committee would dispatch a delegation to inspect the conditions of Egyptian prisoners in the Kingdom’s prisons.

“During our recent meeting, Chairman of the HR Committee, Mohammad Anwar Sadat, put this proposal forward, and I only promised to refer it to the authorities in the Kingdom for their consideration”, refuted Kattan.
