Six Egyptian construction companies are competing to win a mandate to carry out a number of road and infrastructure projects in Badr and Sixth of October cities, an official source said on Sunday.
Housing Ministry’s affiliate Central Agency for Reconstruction is launching the works, at a cost approaching 1.6 billion Egyptian pounds ($96.7 million), the source in one of these companies added.
“Six road projects are currently being launched in Badr City, northeast of Cairo, at a cost approaching 400 million pounds,” he told Amwal Al Ghad.
As for Sixth of October City’s works, Central Agency for Reconstruction is launching three more major road and infrastructure projects there, at a cost exceeding 1.2 billion pounds, the source said.
