Egypt’s President Sisi Oks law to amend investment

Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi on Monday approved law no. 141/2019 to amend some provisions of the investment law no. 172/2017.

The amendments allow expansions of existing investment projects to benefit from incentives provided to new ones. The changes also regulate the offer of data of investment projects to bodies concerned including that used in statistics.

The new law was published in the official gazette.
