Asian markets briefing 18/08/2023

The Asian markets closed low on Friday with China’s SSEC falling by -1 percent to 3,131.95, losing 31.79 points.

Japan’s Nikkei 225 dropped by -0.55 percent and lost 175.24 points to close at 31,450.76.

Hong Kong’s HSI slipped by -2.05 percent and lost 375.78 points, reaching a value of 17,950.85.
