Banque Du Caire gets Egypt c.bank nod to launch KSA, UAE represent offices

Egypt’s third biggest state-run bank, Banque Du Caire has received approval from the country’s central bank to inaugurate two resident offices in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, board member announced Saturday.

Ayman Mokhtar said the two resident offices are to be part of a plan to boost Banque Du Caire’s expansions outside Egypt, through Gulf markets.

Banque Du Caire has its presence in Kampala, Uganda since November 5th, 1995, with a capital worth US$10 million and assets estimated at US$14 million.
