Celine Dion cancels Las Vegas shows

Singer Celine Dion is suffering from a virus and has cancelled several shows in Las Vegas.

The Quebec superstar is battling a virus that has caused inflammation of her vocal chords.

She was instructed by her doctors to rest for seven days, and as a result she cancelled her shows at the Caesar’s Palace hotel.

Her next performance will be on March 3.

In a statement posted on her website, the singer apologized to fans who bought tickets for the shows.

“I feel terrible about not being able to do these shows. I feel so bad for the fans. I don’t like to let people down….it’s the thing that bothers me more than anything. I really hope everyone understands how sorry I am.”
