DXC Technology partners with Kaf Insurance Egypt

Egypt’s fastest growing life insurance provider, Kaf is working on its digital transformation with DXC Technology, by providing data analytics, application development and DXC Assure Policy.

DXC, leading Fortune 500 global technology services provider, and Kaf have cosigned a ten year contract, in which DXC will be enabling Kaf to provide a smooth digital experience for its current two million policyholders and new customers.

The modernised version of DXC’s integral software for Life and Group Business, DXC Assure Policy, will be backing Kaf’s insurance administration by giving it the ability to deliver a consistent and comprehensive digital insurance experience to its customers.

Kaf will be using the help of automated case management underwriting technology to sell insurance products with straight-through and non-straight-through processing.

The contract also includes Kaf leveraging DXC to create a mobile app to allow customers to manage their policies, personal information, claims and status as well as browse and purchase products.

The app will have Kaf’s core insurance system through DXC’s technology, enabling data analytics to personalize policy options and provide a 24/7 online portal for digital only documentation and support.

“As Egypt’s fastest-growing life insurer, we are committed to digital transformation with a purpose. This will allow us to be at the forefront of the Egyptian insurance industry and offer our customers the latest and most innovative solutions.

DXC is providing us with the technology to proactively service our customers and execute on our brand promise of “making it easy, doing it right,” said George Ghobrial, Kaf’s CEO

“Today’s insurance customers expect a digital buying experience, information at their fingertips and flexible policies. Our DXC Assure suite of base and surround systems work together to enable faster time to market, streamlined operations, stellar customer experiences and a launching pad for growth,” said Neveen Galal, managing director at DXC Egypt.

The 2020 established insurance company aims to be the first end-to-end digital insurance provider in Egypt.
