The board of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) has said that the bourse will be closed for holiday on the occasion of the 25 January Revolution and National Police Day.
The EGX will resume operations starting Sunday, 28 January, according to a statement released Monday.
On the same line, the country’s workforce minister said that Thursday would be an official day off to those working in the public sector.
Similarly, the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) said that 25 January will be an official holiday for banks across the country.
