Egypt’s exports to China up by around 21% in 2022

Egypt’s exports to China rose by 20.8 percent to reach $1.7 billion in the first 11 months of 2022, compared to the same period in 2021, where it was 1.4 billion dollars, data from statistics agency CAPMAS showed on Saturday.

Products such as fuel, mineral oils, and distillate products, in addition to cotton and fruits, are the Chinese imports from Egypt in the first 11 months of 2022. The Chinese imports have a total value of $1.3 billion, $104.3 million, and $76.8 million.

Egyptian imports from China have a total value of $13.2 billion during the same period, up from 13.1 billion in the same period in 2021, recording an increase of around 0.6 percent.

Egyptian imports form the Chinese exports include organic chemical goods worth of $868.5 million, in addition to electrical gadgets and equipment worth $2.6 billion.
