Egypt’s processed food exports have reached a total of $41.1 billion between 2014 and 2024, reflecting the sector’s robust growth and global competitiveness, the Food Export Council (FEC) Chairman Mahmoud Bazan revealed on Sunday.
He emphasised the ongoing efforts of the FEC to support Egyptian exports through developing trade policies, assisting exporting companies, expanding into new markets, and promoting sustainability in the food sector.
Bazan highlighted the collaboration with state agencies and the unwavering support of the political leadership and the Egyptian government in achieving these milestones, according to the FEC’s statement.
