New Gas Discovery in El-Alamein

Improved Petroleum Recovery Group of Companies (IPRGOC), operating in Egypt, announced a new gas discovery in El-Alamein, Western Desert.

The company discovered a new gas well in El-Alamein at the depth of 12,000 feet with a capacity production of 14 million cubic feet of gas per day.

Adel Mohsen, the chairman of the IPRGOC in Egypt, said that the company is currently drawing up a plan to develop the new discovery with a view to putting it on the production map.
