Sisi opens projects in Badr City, calling a halt to slums in two years

Egypt’s President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi inaugurated Thursday over 30 projects in Badr City in various fields, including Housing, Urban Development and Roads projects.

The projects were implemented by the Armed Forces Engineering Authority.

Headed by Kamel El Wazir, the Armed Forces Engineering Authority is currently establishing 659 developmental projects. In addition, it has completed 1042 others.

Acting initially as a key partner, the Armed Forces Engineering Authority has developed 46 road projects and 135 bridges and tunnels.

Moreover, al-Sisi has urged Egypt’s Ministry of Housing and the Armed Forces Engineering Authority to put a halt to life-endangered slums in Egypt within two years.
