Telecom Egypt to participate in the 20th round of Cairo ICT

State-run landline monopoly, Telecom Egypt, announced plans to participate in the 20th round of Cairo ICT, the leading technology event in Africa and the Middle East.

Taking place on November 27-30, the event will be attended by representatives of more than 500 companies involved in the industry of communications and information technology under the slogan ‘Digital Disruption Era’.

TE, which has recently obtained a licence to start providing 4G services, will focus in this event on the concept of ‘Integrated services’.For this purpose, it will showcase a package of e-services, solutions, and new applications based on micro-fiber technology that will serve a wide range of its customers.

Commenting on its participation, Tamer Gadalla, a board member and CEO at TE, said that Cairo ICT is one of the most important events where global and regional tech companies gather to discuss the latest trends in ICT sector.

Gadalla added that Cairo ICT 2016 is a good opportunity for TE to meet in person with its customers and hence explore their needs for a better service. Moreover, the event makes a good platform for TE to promote its latest solutions and products within companies as well as individual participants, the official concluded.
