NUCA Has 3 Main Demands from New Housing Minister

New Urban Communities Authority “NUCA” has defined 3 basic demands, to be presented to the new Minister of Housing Dr. Tarek Wafiq.

According to a statement by the Authority, the first demand is to establish social justice by abolishing the allowance for all committees, providing family therapy for employees at the Authority, in addition to reaching a settlement with real estate investment companies.

Moreover, the Authority requested non-renewal of contracts for those who exceeded their sixties and preventing military personnel from holding positions in the authority or the apparatuses of its affiliated cities, pointing out that the first Vice Chairman of the New Urban Communities Authorities, Hussein Kamal al-Din, was a Major General.

On the Other hand, Khaled Sorour, engineer at the apparatus of the 6th of October City,  denounced the appointment of Dr. Abdel Qawi Khalifa as the Minister of Utilities, given that he belongs to the old regime  as well as the conditions of the holding company for drinking water and sanitation under his chairmanship.

Likewise, some employees at the Authority said Khalifa did not accomplish achievements that would qualify him for that position, refusing any cooperation with him after he takes office.
