China’s CSCEC starts construction phase of 5 skyscrapers in Egypt’s New Alamein
China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) started on Sunday the construction phase of the main structures of five residential skyscrapers in New Alamein City on Egypt’s Mediterranean northern coast.
Al Alamin Downtown Towers project considered as another important project, after the Central Business District (CBD) project in the new administrative capital of Egypt, said Chang Weicai the general manager of CSCEC Egypt during the launching ceremony.
Weicai added that this project will become one of the 10 tallest residential buildings in the world after its completion
He stressed that CSCEC Egypt will continue to keep its high standard in construction and strive to contribute to the construction of the new city.
CSCEC is implementing 20 towers of various uses in the financial and business centre in the New Administrative Capital, with investments estimated at $3 billion.
The project is another achievement of China-Egypt cooperation, which has brought many development opportunities for Egyptians, Omar Hassan quality control engineer of the project.
In his side, Zhang Xiuchuan the project manager of Al Alamein Downtown Towers project added that the company has employed many local engineers and workers since the start of the project.
Xiuchuan continued that the company provides lots of employment opportunities and brings economic benefits to the locals.
Hassan announced that there are 24 Egyptian engineers and over 300 Egyptian labours in this project.
This project had signed on 2021 with Egypt’s New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), a government housing body.
