British Prime Minister Liz Truss will attend the climate summit COP27 next month as it will be a part of her international effort, The Sun newspaper reported on its website Tuesday.
This announcement comes despite the expectations of some critics that Truss may avoid participating in such an environmental event.
The newspaper noted that while former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson was an ardent advocate on net zero emissions issue, so it expected that Truss is more skeptical of the green agenda.
Truss has promised she will stick to the vow to get to Net Zero by 2050. It came after reports that King Charles III won’t go to the eco gathering as planned after the death of the Queen.
