United States market briefing 12/05/2023

The United States market closed low on Friday with the Dow dropping by -0.03 percent to close at 33,300.62, losing 8.89 points. The index recorded a day high value of 33,406.40 and a day low value of 33,110.61.

The NASDAQ inched down by -0.35 percent to 12,284.74 after it lost 43.76 points. It recorded a day high value of 12,364.65 and a day low value of 12,209.58.

S&P 500 fell by -0.16 percent and lost 6.54 points, closing at 4,124.08. The index recorded a day high value of 4,143.74 and a day low value of 4,099.12.
