Fitch to withdraw ratings of China Aircraft Leasing Group

Fitch Ratings announced on Tuesday its intention to withdraw the ratings on China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings Limited (CALC) on or around November 29, 2024, due to commercial reasons.

Currently, Fitch rates CALC as follows: Long-Term Issuer Default Rating (IDR) at BB+, with a negative outlook; short-term IDR at B; and the long-term rating on senior unsecured notes and the MTN programme issued by CALC Bonds Limited at BB+.

Fitch may withdraw or maintain ratings at any time for any reason it deems sufficient. It aims to provide investors with comprehensive rating coverage and is giving the market approximately 30 days’ notice of the withdrawal of CALC’s rating.

Fitch’s ratings for the entity are subject to review and may change until they are withdrawn. The last rating action was on 10 June 2024, when the ratings were affirmed with a revised Negative Outlook from Stable.
