Egypt’s El-Khatib reviews Ras El-Hekma project with Modon CEO

Egypt’s Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Hassan El-Khatib met with Modon Holding CEO Abdullah Al-Sahi to review the Ras El-Hekma development project and highlight investment opportunities in Egypt, as per an official statement.

El-Khatib highlighted Modon Holding’s role as the lead developer of the Ras El-Hekma project on Egypt’s North Coast, in partnership with key developers from Egypt, the UAE, and other international firms. In February, the company announced significant progress on the project’s master plan design.

The minister assured full government support for the project and promised ongoing cooperation for its success. He highlighted future investment opportunities through Egypt’s Sovereign Wealth Fund, focusing on assets in Downtown Cairo and the Khedivial Cairo.

He underlined Egypt’s ongoing fiscal, monetary, and trade reforms aimed at improving the investment climate, simplifying procedures for investors, and enhancing export-import operations to boost economic competitiveness.

El-Khatib stressed that Egypt offers attractive investment advantages across multiple productive and service sectors, positioning the country as a regional hub for local and foreign investors, according to the statement.
