Egypt’s ministry of health and population announced on Sunday that it has delivered 86.626 million free medical services in the first 60 days of the third edition of the 100 Days of Health campaign, which began on July 15 2025.
The campaign provided 510,068 free services on Friday alone, with the participation of 12 different sectors, each playing a complementary role in meeting its health and development goals, the statement added.
The services included:
- 43,274 through the Primary Healthcare Sector
- 9,759 via the Curative Care Sector
- 62,676 under Presidential Public Health Initiatives
- 8,277 through the Preventive Medicine Sector
- 46,485 from Teaching Hospitals and Institutes
- 9,775 under the Your Health is Happiness mental health initiative
- 7,904 via the General Authority for Health Insurance hospitals
- 4,255 by the Ambulance Authority
- 49,036 from Specialised Medical Centres Secretariat hospitals
- 9,759 through Therapeutic Institution hospitals
The campaign also reached more than 47,056 people with health awareness and education activities, delivered by community outreach teams in public areas, sports clubs and shopping centres.
Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar said the programme underscores Egypt’s efforts to boost national health initiatives, strengthen the medical system and move closer towards universal health coverage.
