Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed mostly green on Wednesday.
- The benchmark index, EGX30, fell by 1.21 per cent to 47,195.39 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33, advanced by 1.18 per cent, to 5,055.84 points.
- The EGX35-LV index climbed by 1.06 per cent to 5,343.12 points
- The SMEs index, EGX70, rose by 1.04 per cent to 12,771.89 points.
- The EGX100 index jumped by 0.89 per cent to 17,861.66 points.
The total market cap reached 3,280,912,444,397 Egyptian pounds.
The Arabs and non-Arab foreigners were net sellers with a total of 3,494,228,641 Egyptian pounds and 58,284,006,521 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the Egyptians were net buyers with a total of 61,778,235,162 Egyptian pounds.

- The shares of El Arabia for Land Reclamation went up by 13.04 per cent to 345.000 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of General Company For Land Reclamation,Development & Reconstru climbed by 9.09 per cent to 166.050 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Wadi Kom Ombo Land Reclamation rose by 8.71 per cent to 282.540 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers
- The shares of Eastern Company dropped by 7.53 per cent to 35.000 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of EGX 30 INDEX ETF sank by 4.99 per cent to 54.100 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of El Ahram Co. For Printing And Packing went down by 4.94 per cent to 11.750 Egyptian pounds a share.
