Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed in the green area on Wednesday.
- The benchmark index, EGX30, went up by 3.38 per cent to 47,611.96 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33, advanced by 1.46 per cent, to 4,983.67 points.
- The EGX35-LV index climbed by 0.95 per cent to 5,300.92 points
- The SMEs index, EGX70, rose by 0.94 per cent to 12,629.26 points.
- The EGX100 index jumped by 1.02 per cent to 17,666.51 points.
The total market cap reached 3,281,055,752,854 Egyptian pounds.
Arabs and non-Arab foreigners were net buyers, with total purchases of 101,781,077,425 Egyptian pounds and 1,070,271,555 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the Egyptians were net sellers with a total of 102,851,348,980 Egyptian pounds.

- The shares of Egyptian Gulf Marseilia For Real Estate Investment went up by 12.47 per cent to 4.420 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Commercial International Bank-Egypt (CIB) climbed by 8.53 per cent to 129.700 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Al Tawfeek Leasing Company-A.T.LEASE rose by 8.28 per cent to 5.100 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers
- The shares of Eastern Company dropped by 3.83 per cent to 35.890 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Creast Mark For Contracting And Real Estate Development sank by 2.96 per cent to 0.590 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of El Arabia for Land Reclamation went down by 2.81 per cent to 359.480 Egyptian pounds a share.
