The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed mostly in the green zone on Wednesday.
- The main index, EGX30, went up by 1.21 per cent to 47,497.91 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33, climbed by 0.73 per cent to 4,988.55 points.
- The EGX35-LV index dropped by 0.06 per cent, to 5,347.49 points.
- The SMEs index, EGX70, jumped by 0.46 per cent to 12,824.8 points
- The EGX100 index rose by 0.37 per cent to 17,878.03 points.
Egypt’s cap market reached 3,292,394,639,226 Egyptian pounds.
The Arabs and non-Arab foreigners were net sellers with a total of 395,083,869 Egyptian pounds and 1,860,547,396 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the Egyptians were net buyers with 2,255,631,265 Egyptian pounds.
Top Gainers
- The shares of National Housing for Professional Syndicates went up by 8.78 to close at 66.300 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Prime Holding soared by 7.54 per cent, closing at 2.140 per share.
- The shares of Egypt for Poultry went up by 7.51 per cent, to close at 9.020 Egyptian pounds per share.
Top Losers
- The shares Concrete Fashion Group For Commercial& Industrial Investment went down by 4.35 per cent, to close at 0.110 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Gogreen for Agricultural Investment sank by 4.25 per cent to close at 2.030 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Valmore Holding-EGP fell by 4.02 per cent closing at 32.500 Egyptian pounds a share.
