Egypt’s tourism revenues increased to about $14.4 billion during the July to March period of fiscal year 2025/26, up from around $12.5 billion in the same period a year earlier, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly said during the Cabinet’s weekly meeting on Wednesday.
Reviewing a number of positive economic indicators, Madbouly highlighted the continued growth in tourism revenues as one of Egypt’s key sources of foreign currency earnings.
The Prime Minister said the figures reflect ongoing improvement in external inflows and broader signs of economic recovery.
