Ten Egyptian officials and executives were awarded the Top Achievers Award at the Amwal Al Ghad Awards Ceremony 2026 on Monday, in recognition of their contributions to key sectors including tourism, healthcare, financial regulation, entrepreneurship, telecommunications and economic development.
The winners included Mostafa Mounir, chief executive of the Tourism Development Authority (TDA); Ahmed Ghoneim, chief executive of the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM); and Ahmed Elsobky, chairman of the Egypt Healthcare Authority (EHA).
Also honoured were Islam Azzam, chairman of the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA), Bassel Rahmy, CEO of the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (MSMEDA), and Waleid Gamal El-Dien, chairman of the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE).
The list also included Mohamed Shamroukh, chairman of the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA); Khaled Abbas, chairman of Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD); Ashraf El-Araby, president of the Institute of National Planning; and Hisham Stait, chairman of the Unified Procurement Authority (UPA).
The award recognises leaders who have played a central role in driving reforms, strengthening institutions and supporting Egypt’s economic and social development.
The honours were presented at the 11th edition of the annual Amwal Al Ghad Awards Ceremony in Cairo, held under the patronage of Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly, with this year’s theme “Leading the Narrative: Shaping the Future.”
