Egyptian pound at 50.14/50.24 against dollar in early trade – 17 August 2026
The Egyptian pound was little changed against the US dollar in early trading on Monday, amid continued stability across Egypt’s major banks.
The US dollar traded at an average of EGP 50.14 for buying and EGP 50.24 for selling across five major banks as of 11:30 a.m. local time (08:30 GMT), according to data compiled by Amwal Al Ghad English.
