Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed mostly in the green area on Wednesday.
- The benchmark index, EGX30, fell 0.31 per cent to 55,106.54 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33, climbed by 0.26 per cent to 6,581.78 points.
- The EGX35-LV index jumped by 0.03 per cent to 6,728.87 points
- The SMEs index, EGX70, rose by 0.79 per cent to 21,269.03 points.
- The EGX100 index soared by 0.69 per cent to 27,578.41 points.
The total market cap reached 4,282,276,137,499 Egyptian pounds.
Egyptians and non-Arab foreigners were net buyers, with 3,827,816,945 Egyptian pounds and 606,201,118 pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, Arabs were net sellers, totaling 4,434,018,063 pounds.

- The shares of Egyptians Real Estate Fund Certificates went up by 19.99 per cent to 34.640 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of TAWASOA For Factoring climbed by 19.94 per cent to 7.580 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Certificates Of Odin Egyptian Equity Investment Fund-KASAB rose by 17.86 per cent to 9.700 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers
- The shares of Catalyst Partners Middle East –CPME dropped by 7.96 per cent to 38.640 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Egyptian Arabian(Themar)Comp. For Securities&Bonds Brok. EAC sank by 6.24 per cent to 7.660 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of El Ahli Investment and Development went down by 5.79 per cent to 55.300 Egyptian pounds a share.
