Egypt’s stock market (EGX) in green area on Tuesday.
- The benchmark index, EGX30, went up by 1.03 per cent to 55,431.29 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33, climbed by 0.17 per cent to 6,559.41 points.
- The index EGX35-LV rose by 1.72 per cent to 6,926.82 points.
- The SMEs index, EGX70, jumped by 2.03 per cent to 21,318.22 points.
- The EGX100 index soared by 1.73 per cent, to 27,735.23 points.
The total market cap reached 4,353,625,512,101 Egyptian pounds.
Arabs and non-Arab foreigners were net sellers, with a total of 6,491,257,646 Egyptian pounds and 8,311,627,388 pounds, respectively. On the other hand, Egyptians were net buyers with 14,802,885,034 pounds.
Top gainers
- The shares of Al Tawfeek Leasing Company-A.T.LEASE went up by 19.93 per cent to 6.800 pounds a share.
- The shares of KORRA rose by 19.83 per cent to close at 4.290 pounds a share.
- The shares of TransOceans Tours jumped by 17.65 per cent, closing at 0.060 pounds.
Top losers
- The shares of Alexandria New Medical Center dropped by 20.00 per cent to 104.590 pounds at closing.
- The shares of Lotus For Agricultural Investments And Development fell by 8.85 per cent to close at 1.030 pounds a share.
- The shares of Industrial & Engineering Projects sank by 6.60 per cent, closing at 0.990 pounds a share.
