Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed mixed on Wednesday.
- The benchmark index, EGX30, dropped 0.16 per cent to 54,822.66 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33, fell by 0.18 per cent to 6,639.47 points.
- The EGX35-LV index climbed by 0.18 per cent to 6,766.43 points
- The SMEs index, EGX70, rose by 0.15 per cent to 20,744.89 points.
- The EGX100 index jumped by 0.27 per cent to 27,252.91 points.
The total market cap reached 4,321,335,057,475 Egyptian pounds.
Arabs and non-Arab foreigners were net sellers, with 111,152,720 Egyptian pounds and 15,274,944,075 pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, Egyptians were net buyers, totaling 15,386,096,795 pounds.

- The shares of National Printing went up by 19.98 per cent to 42.100 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of B Investments Holding climbed by 19.76 per cent to 62.250 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Grand Investment Capital rose by 8.80 per cent to 43.660 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers
- The shares of Speed Medical dropped by 19.93 per cent to 0.482 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of KORRA sank by 4.96 per cent to 6.320 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Egypt for Poultry went down by 4.09 per cent to 11.030 Egyptian pounds a share.
