Egypt Forum to address 42 public questions, outline plans through 2030 – PM
Egypt’s government will address 42 questions reflecting citizens’ concerns and outline its priorities through 2030 at Egypt Forum 2026, Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly said on Monday.
Speaking at the forum’s opening ceremony, attended by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Madbouly said discussions would examine the country’s achievements, outstanding challenges, and government priorities for the next three years.
“The government will answer all the questions and address all the issues, including what it plans to do through 2030,” Madbouly said, adding that the government would present its plans for the coming three years in detail.
The questions are intended to reflect public concerns about what Egypt has achieved, what remains to be done, and what the country should aim to accomplish next, he said.
Madbouly identified five main areas that account for around 70 per cent of citizens’ concerns: education, prices and inflation, healthcare, wages and pensions, and security and stability.
The forum’s sessions and discussion tracks were designed around these priorities to focus on issues of greatest importance to the public, he said.
Held under Sisi’s auspices, the six-day forum brings together citizens, government officials, experts, private-sector representatives, civil society groups, parliamentarians, and political parties to discuss national priorities and possible responses to current challenges.
Its programme includes plenary sessions, specialised discussions, roundtables, and workshops examining public policies, development projects, and the quality of services delivered to citizens.
