Egypt’s Social Fund for Development (SFD) is set to start talks soon with a number of local banks over financing SMEs projects, the acting Secretary General Hanaa El Hilaly said on Sunday. The fund is planning to sign new funding agreements in favour of the SMEs in Egypt.
El Hilaly further stated that the number of banks SFD to start financing talks with include ALEXBANK – Intesa Sanpaolo, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank – Egypt (ADIB Egypt) and the Principal Bank for Development and Agriculture Credit (PBDAC).
