Egypt signed Monday a Memorandum of Understanding with Gezhouba Group Company, one of the largest Chinese construction firms, to establish sanitation networks for 250 villages in Delta governorates, Menoufiya and Gharbiya.
The MoU was signed by Egyptian Minister of Housing, Moustafa Madbouli.
Meanwhile, the minister announced that one of the Chinese banks is likely to grant Egypt a concessional loan worth $ 1 billion to implement those projects.
The government is keen on facing the waste water crisis especially in villages, the Minister added.
