Vodafone Egypt names Stefano Gastout as new CEO
Vodafone Egypt announced Monday that Stefano Gastout has been appointed as the new chief executive officer. Gastout succeeds Ahmed Essam, who successfully led Vodafone Egypt for two years.
Gastout will move to Vodafone Egypt’s main headquarters in Cairo, to perform his new position as of September 1st, 2016, the company added.
Gastout has first joined Vodafone in 2004 in Italy. In 2014, he was named as CEO of Vodafone Partner Markets Group, which involves 38 partners in 50 countries.
