A Cypriot mission encompassing 15 representatives of tourism sector is scheduled o visit Egypt next October, Chairman of Egypt’s Commercial Service Office (ECS), Ali El-Leithy stated Thursday.
The delegation would include governmental officials in addition to representatives of cruise and air charter companies, the official clarified.
During their visit, the representatives plan holding a number of meetings with their Egyptian counterparts to activate bilateral cooperation between Egypt and Cyprus in tourism field.
El-Leithy noted that the Egyptian Commercial Service Office in Cyprus exerts efforts to attract Cypriot tourism to Egypt as pursuant to the agreement signed by trade and tourism ministries in February 2013.
A report released by Egypt’s Commercial Service Office in Cyprus stated that the office held a number of meetings with leading Cypriot tourism organisations and companies. Accordingly, two Cypriot firms expressed their keenness to operate cruises to Egypt, the chairman clarified.
