Egypt’s Housing on track to execute 4,704 units in Inskan Misr
Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly said on Saturday Housing Ministry is implementing 4,704 units in New Mansoura City, as part of the country’s Iskan Misr flagship.
“We are currently carrying out the finishing works of 1,632 units, including 68 buildings in New Mansoura among within the project,” Madbouly further added.
As for Dar Misr, the Egyptian minister said his ministry has recently executed 20 percent of 11,232 housing units in New Mansoura among the state’s middle-income residential.
In August 2017, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi issued a decree establishing a new city in Mansoura, 128 km north of Cairo in the Nile Delta.
The decree approved the re-allocation of 5,104 feddans or 21.4 million square metres of the state-owned lands to the New Urban Communities Authority to be used in establishing a new urban community, the New Mansoura City.
