Egypt’s foreign trade volume increases 13 % by Sep. 2018

Egypt’s foreign trade volume recorded $67.5 billion by the end of September 2018 with an increase of 13 percent compared to $59.8 billion  a year earlier, according to Amr Nassar, the minister of Industry and Trade.

According to General Organization For Export & Import Control, the trade exchange between Egypt and the United states of America has achieved an increase of 33.2 percent during the first nine months of 2018 recording $5.5 billion in comparison to $ 3.7 billion in 2017.

Moreover, The volume of trade exchange between Egypt and the African countries during the first nine months of 2018  has increased by 21 percent recording $1.8 compared to 541 million in the corresponding period.

On the other hand, The trade exchange volume between Egypt and Arab Countries has posted an increase of 10.5 percent recording $ 10.6 in nine months  compared to $9.1 a year earlier.
