Egyptian Transport Minister Kamel El-Wazir met on Sunday with a high-profile delegation of the World Bank Group (WB).
They discussed ongoing projects in the rail transport sector and others proposed for cooperation between Egypt and the World Bank aimed at developing the railway system.
El-Wazir said he looks forward to more cooperation with the World Bank, adding that among the priorities now is railway safety, security and management.
El-Wazir discussed with the World Bank delegation efforts by the transportation ministry to boost the safety of the railway system.
