Egypt Eyes Qatari Investment In Port Said, Mal Says

The Investment Ministry has presented the Qatari government with potential projects in the area, the newspaper said.

Egypt hopes Qatar will finance 200 billion Egyptian pounds ($32.8 billion) of infrastructure projects in Port Said, Al-Mal reported, citing Ahmed el-Mouniry, a Freedom and Justice Party official.

The Investment Ministry has presented the Qatari government with potential projects in the area, the newspaper said, citing Adel Rahouma, the secretary general of the Egyptian-Qatari Business Council.
