Egypt’s Nile Consumer Complexes attains sales of $46m in 2016

Nile Consumer Complexes Company – an affiliate of Egypt’s Holding Company for Food Industries- achieved sales estimated at 850 million Egyptian pounds (US$46.5 million) during 2016, Chairman Adel El Khatib stated.

Speaking to Amwal Al Ghad Sunday, the chairman said that sales of Nile Company rose by 30 percent in 2016 opposed to the previous year as pursuant to its plan to upgrade branches within fiscal year 2016-17.

Nile Company started implementing its investment plan for the current financial year aiming at injecting 50 million pounds, El Khatib added, clarifying that the company finished upgrading eight complexes and is currently working to upgrade another six complexes.

Moreover, the plan includes upgrading company’s affiliate factories and packaging centres during the second half of financial year 2016-17, the official noted.
