India’s foreign exchange reserves rose by $4.553 billion to reach $690.617 billion in the week ending May 9, according to the most recent weekly data from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
During the aforementioned period, the foreign currency assets rose by $196 million to $581.373 billion, the gold reserves increased by $4.518 billion to $86.337 billion.
India’s special drawing rights decreased by $26 million to $18.532 billion, and the country’s reserves position at the International Monetary Fund decreased by $134 million to $4.374 billion.
