Egypt: gold prices today – January 7
Gold prices today in Egypt fell by 6.08 Egyptian pounds ($0.38) per gram.
According to data compiled by Amwal Al Ghad on Tuesday, the price of 21-carat gold, the most popular in the local market, reached 706.63 pounds, while 18-carat gold stood at 605.68 pounds.
The decline in local market was triggered by global fall in the prices of the yellow metal by $12 to $1,566 per ounce.
