Google’s Pichai says will give employees up to $1,000 for work-from-home expenses
Google’s chief executive Sundar Pichai told employees in an email on Wednesday that they would receive up to $1,000 to cover the cost of equipment to help them continue to work from home.
The email came alongside updates to Google’s timeline for bringing its people back to offices. Pichai said Google would start reopening more of its facilities on July 6, adding that buildings would be about 10 percent occupied, and reach 30 percent occupancy in September.
