Egypt-based Alexandria Sporting Club launches tender to cover its facilities – sources

Egyptian-based Alexandria Sporting Club has launched an insurance policy tender to cover its facilities against all risks, said official sources on Tuesday.

Founded in 1890, Alexandria Sporting Club is one of the oldest clubs in Egypt and Africa. It is also known as Sporting Alexandria and Sporting between the locals. The club was is best known for their handball and basketball team.

The insurance policy will see coverage of the club’s properties and facilities against damages arising from fire and burglary as well as additional risks, the sources further told Amwal al Ghad.

The policy also includes coverage of explosion and fire produced from self-ignition, besides other risks related to natural disasters and theft, they added.
