Egypt’s stocks end week mixed, benchmark EGX 30 adds 0.14%
Egypt’s stock exchange (EGX) closed in mixed notes on Thursday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index inching up by 0.14 percent to 11,731 points.
EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) fell by 0.19 percent to 2,208 points.
The all-embracing index, EGX 100 tumbled by 0.24 percent to 3,231 points.
Market Cap
The country’s market capitalisation has posted gains worth 263 million Egyptian pounds ($16.7 million), ending the trading at 756.900 billion pounds buoyed by Arab and foreign investors’ buying appetite.
Trading Aggregates
Trading value has approximately reached around 746.4 million pounds, while the trading volume has almost recorded 177.8 million securities executed 32,200 transactions.
