Alphabet, parent company for Google has reached a market value of $1.5 trillion for the first time in a year, CNBC reported on Wednesday. While, the company’s indices jumped by three percent to be exchange by less than $120 upon closing.
This caused an increase in the company’s value by $1.521 trillion. According to CompaniesMarketCap this is the first time since May 2022 that the company’s market value reaches that value.
The index rose by around 35 percent so far this year, after the 2022 loss of around fifth of its net value. Alphabet is one of the three companies in the U.S. with a market value of $1.5 trillion along with Apple and Microsoft.
