Egypt’s national projects contribute to less mental health issues – minister
Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Egyptian Minister of Health and Population, said on Tuesday that national projects in Egypt have lessened the mental health issues. The statement was made during the Africa Health ExCon, which was inaugurated on Tuesday by President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
Abdel Ghaffar explained that citizens who live in slums have witnessed a remarkable change in their mental health after they were moved to healthier and safe places.
The minister also said that the boost in the mental health in Egypt decreased the number of road accidents. The conference will run from Tuesday till Friday with over 90 countries participating and 1200 speaker.
