Egypt’s WEPCO plans to establish 3 solar warehouses – ministry
Egypt’s Western Desert Operating Petroleum Co. (WEPCO) is set to build new three solar warehouses in New Alameen city during the fiscal year 2023/2024, according to statement by Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources on Wednesday.
Ibrahim Masoud, WEPCO’s CEO, said that during a year, about 81 million barrels of port storage facilities were received and approximately 21 million barrels were shipped through maritime facilities.
WEPCO has produced about two million barrels of crude oil with an average daily production of 5,300 barrels during the year, Masoud further explained during a video conference with Minister of Petroleum Tarek El-Molla.
