Egypt’s CBE net profit hits EGP 73.1b in Feb.

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) achieved a net profit of 73.193 billion Egyptian pounds during February 2024, compared to 80.230 in January, according to the bank’s financial statement.

The bank’s total equity recorded 5.182 trillion pounds in February, compared to 5.107 trillion pounds at the end of January, as per the statement.

The bank’s capital remained at 21.600 billion pounds, with reserves of about 371.328 billion pounds. Total assets increased to 5.182 trillion pounds in February, compared to 5.107 trillion pounds at the end of January.
