Egypt’s stock exchange (EGX) closed in the green area on Tuesday, with the main index, EGX30 gaining 0.76 per cent, to 30,363.15 points.
The Shariah index, EGX33 surged by 1.07 per cent to 2,884.63 points.
The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 added 1.04 per cent, to 7,015.97 points.
The index, EGX100 index inched up by 1 per cent, to 1,0042.9 points.
The total market capitalisation recorded 2,075,283,440,846 Egyptian pounds.
Egyptians and non-Arab foreigners were net buyers with 6,131,748,527 Egyptian pounds, and 3,122,226,519 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, Arabs were net sellers with a total of 9,253,975,046 Egyptian pounds.

- Shares of Sinai Cement (SCEM.CA) climbed by 19.99 per cent, to close at 36.790 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Shares of Misr Duty Free Shops (MFSC.CA) jumped by 16.75 per cent, to close at 29.760 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Shares of Misr National Steel – Ataqa (ATQA.CA) soared by 9.94 per cent, to close at the price of 3.980 Egyptian pounds a share.

- Shares of Egyptian Gulf Marseilia for Real Estate Investment (MAAL.CA) sank by 7.89 per cent, to close at the price of 3.150 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Shares of Misr Fretilizers Production Company – Mopco (MFPC.CA) dived by 7.11 per cent, to trade at the price of 44.400 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Shares of Extracted Oils (ZEOT.CA) shed 5.97 per cent, to the purchasing price of 3.150 Egyptian pounds a share.
